Phenomenal Woman-Maya Angelou

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,

The fellows stand or

A hive of honey bees.

THERE IS MORE THAN ONE ROAD LEADING TO YOUR GOLD

LIFE, LIFE, LIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! SUCCESS SUCCESS SUCCESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! We all are living this life, and we ALL are on a jounrey to success. The funny thing is that we all tend to believe that their is only one way to success. I have seen many people try to mimick other steps, thinking it will lead them to that pot of Gold (Success), which is farrrrrrr from the truth.

God has made everyone an individual. There is NO else in this world that is an exact duplicate of you. Everyone also has THEIR OWN PURPOSE! Your purpose in this world differs from the person next to you. With this being said you CANNOT lean on another person process and expect it to work with you.

Being an orginal with a God-given purpose means that the process leading you to your destination will be unique. There were times when I would get so frusterated because I felt that my road had so many obstacles, whereas someone else seemed to slide through. I had to learn that my road was given for me for a reason.

So instead of resenting it.. I had to embrace it! And ever since then Life has become less stressful! So to you I SAY..EMBRACE YOUR ROAD..AND REALIZE THAT EVENTUALLY IT WILL LEAD TO YOUR GOLD :-)

ABOVE ALL BE THANKFUL

In this crazy world, it is easy to whine and complain about EVERYTHING! I do not know about you, but I have complained about many things. There have been times where I have minimized the blessings God has blessed me with and maximized my problems .

During one of my random times to myself I took a step back and looked at my actions, and realized that I had come to a place where I complained more than I thanked. Complaining had become second nature. Realizing that shocked and saddened me. Was it true? Did I really end up in a place where I was ungrateful? All of these questions flooded my mind, as i really digested the revelation.

In Romans 1:21 it states "For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened." This verse made me realize the consequences of complaining, and not thanking God for all that we don't deserve.

In this verse, God reminded me of the fact that his blessings should not be taken forgranted. You see there are many people in the world that want a roof over their heads and food on the table who do not have it. Yet we look at these everyday blessing as a right that should be given to us. That is not true. God can give and take it away..

In this life, learning to thankful above all will get make us appreciate things more. I mean there is sooooo much to be thankful for. Your alive, you can use your body parts AND SOOO MUCH MORE. Never take blessings or people forgranted. Things can be so much worst than what it is. SO ABOVE ALL LETS BE THANKFUL AND APPRECIATIVE FOR ALL THAT WE HAVE..IT WAS ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD!!!

LEARNING,LOVING AND GROWING

I'M BACK WORLD!! AND IT FEELS SOO GOOD. During my hiatus I have learned more about myself. I have learned more about my strengths, and weaknesses. I have come out of some circumstances that have allowed me to re-evaluate some decisions. This year alone I have learned to lean not on myself, but to lean on the direction of God, I have learned to LOVE unconditionally, and to Grow from my trials and tribulations. As I continue this journey I pray that you all understand that Change only occurs to those who diligently seek it.. Hello AGAIN WORLD!

PERFECT YOUR PASSION

According to Merriam Webster passion is defined as a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept. This definition most likely describes areas of interests in you all. In my last blog, I talked about all that 2009 has brought me thus far. 2009 has also allocated me some time of reflection,I have this year as a year of growth and direction.

One of things God has granted me is direction on my passion. The importance of pursuing you passion is great. Looking back, at some of the individuals I have been inspired by, I was able to notice a similarity that they all possess...Passion. From Lauren Lake to Coach Dee to Michela, and Cherise.. they all devoted time in perfecting their passion. This in itself has taught me a lesson that I will never forget....Perfect your passion, make sure whatever you do, you do well. If these world changers I mentioned did what they are great at half-halfheartedly it would not have had the same impact on me as it does.

One of my favorite verses in the bible is Hosea 4:6 "My people perish for their lack of Knowledge"
That indeed is true, there are so many people in this day and age that act out ignorance..
I see it happen on a consistent basis, ignorance is a mental disease that can lead to intellectual death if not treated.
It saddens me, because their is so much more out there for everybody.
There is so many opportunities to grasp...

LIFE IS HOW YOU MAKE IT

I was sitting in room watching Project Runway, yesterday and for some strange reason I was thinking about life at that moment. I was just thinking about everything that concerns Life. What dawned on me is that life is like a roll clay, God has given everyone the nessesary tools needed to form the clay.

But each individual has the choice,and option form the clay in the way they would like, Although God supervises the whole process. You have the option to make life dull or exciting. The world is at your disposal, Everything that you think is far from possible is indeed actually possible. The question is how dedicated are you in forming, preparing, and postioning yourself?

The ball is in your court, go after your passions. Let's stop being backseat riders,as we witness others around us pursuing their true passions, and succeeding in the process. Let's stop envying our brothers and sisters' success, and learn to applaud them. They deserve it, we can actually learn from. There is NO NEED FOR HATE! Let's love,give and MAKE OUR LIFE GREAT!!
